BWHealth (“BWHealth,” “we,” “us”) is the trade name of Bridgewell Health, a cooperative of independent, clinician-owned behavioral health practices based in Aurora, Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect through bridgewellhealth.coop and through our contact forms, scheduling tools, and text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This is not a Notice of Privacy Practices

Health information you share with a therapist as part of your care is protected by HIPAA and Colorado law. It is governed by that practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices, which your therapist gives you when care begins. This website policy covers information collected through the website and during the steps before you become a client.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, phone number, and email address when you submit a contact form.
  • Your choices about receiving text messages from us.
  • Details you provide when you book an assessment or an introduction call, such as your name, contact information, the time you select, and anything you choose to write.
  • Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Please do not include health details, diagnoses, or other sensitive information in website forms, email, or text messages. We will talk through those with you directly.

Information collected automatically

  • Your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to run the site and measure how it is used.
  • Session analytics that show how visitors move through pages, such as clicks and scrolling.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and help you get started with care.
  • To schedule and coordinate assessments and appointments, and to match you with a therapist in the cooperative.
  • To send the text messages and emails you have agreed to receive.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To comply with the law and protect the rights and safety of our clients, members, and the public.

Text messaging

If you opt in, we may text you about your inquiry, scheduling, and appointment coordination. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, we may also text you news and updates. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving any service.

  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
  • Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, other than service providers that help us deliver messages.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Member practices. When you ask to be matched with a therapist, we share your contact details and request with the member practice or practices that may be a fit.
  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the website and communicate with you, including website hosting, our contact form and messaging platform, online scheduling, email newsletter delivery, and analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, court order, or to protect someone’s safety.
  • Organizational changes. If the cooperative reorganizes or transfers its operations, information may transfer as part of that change, subject to this policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Jetpack, to understand how the site is used. These tools may set cookies and collect the automatic information described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. The site will still work if you decline cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and scheduling information for as long as needed to respond to you and coordinate care, and as required by law. When it is no longer needed we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No website, email, or text message is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through those channels.

Your choices

  • Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@bridgewell.health.
  • Opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
  • Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any message.
  • Colorado residents and residents of some other states may have additional privacy rights under state law. Contact us and we will respond as the law requires.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through it. A parent or guardian should contact us on a child’s behalf.

Links to other sites

Our site links to scheduling tools, member practices’ own websites, and other outside services. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

If you are in crisis

Our website, forms, and text line are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, call Colorado Crisis Services at 1-844-493-8255, or call 911.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
